Fitness Center Orientation

FREE for members!
Orientation with trained YMCA staff on use of fitness center equipment. Free member service! Sign up at the Member Services Desk.  Weekday and Saturday appointments available.

Group Fitness Classes

Purchase a group fitness punch card and take as many classes you want, when you want!  Each punch card allows you to attend 15 classes of your choice.  Choose from the following:
SilverSneakers Muscular Strength & Range of Movement**
Yoga
Pilates
Boot Camp
Body & Core - FREE for members!
Wake Up Aerobics - FREE for members!

Water Exercise

Improve muscle tone and aerobic capacity while having fun.  Cushioned full body workout. Need not be a swimmer.

Deep Water Exercise

Great suspended deep water workout. Use of aqua-jogger belts and dumbbells included for great cardio & muscle conditioning moves. Starts with shallow water moves and then to the deep. Need to be comfortable in deep water.

MS Water Exercise

Great for those with MS, fibromyalgia, arthritis, or other limitations. Range-of-motion, strengthening and stretching. Need not be a swimmer.

Member and Non-Member fees are the same for all outreach fitness programs.

Yogalates
Combine the practices of yoga and Pilates for a total mind/body workout.  Bring your own sticky mat.  Collaborative with VRMC.

Yoga
Yoga flows, poses & breathing to improve flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.  Bring your own sticky mat.  Collaborative with E-G Community Education.

Body Composition Testing

Skinfold caliper test or body fat analyzer test to determine lean to fat ratio. Contact the Fitness Director for more information.

Personal Training

Reach your fitness goals with personal training.  Includes assessment, goal setting, and individualized workouts.  Guided sessions with a personal trainer.  MEMBERS ONLY.

Group Training (Up to 3 people):
$20/person - one session

Get Real Weight Management

This program is designed to help adults develop healthy nutrition, diet and physical activity habits.  GET REAL will guide adults through the often difficult beginning steps of changing behavior related to food and exercise.  Recruit a friend or your spouse and do it together!  An assessment is required before registration.  Leave your name and number at the Member Services Desk to schedule an assessment time with our program coordinator.

Fall session: September 15 - December 4 (11 weeks)

AGES: 18 years & up

TIME: Monday & Thursday 7:30-9:00pm (class meets twice a week)

FEES:
Members $70/person or $105/couple
Non-Members $90/person or $125/couple

Homeschool Gym & Swim

A gym and swim program for area home schooled children.  YMCA staff will lead age-appropriate activities in the gym and pool.

AGES: 5-17 years

TIME: Thursday 2:00-3:30pm

FEE: $20 per child

Trim Kids

This weight loss program teaches families how to lead a healthier lifestyle by making better nutrition choices, focusing on family fitness and changing behavior.  All classes include exercise activities and classroom learning.  At least one parent must attend with their child.  An assessment is required prior to registration.  Contact the Member Services Desk to schedule an assessment time.

TIME: Monday & Thursday 6:00-7:30pm (class meets twice a week)

FEE: $20 per child (includes textbook and all program materials)
