Financial Assistance
The Mesabi Family YMCA is a non-profit organization designed to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of members and participants in our local communites. Participation in YMCA memberships and programs are not denied to anyone because of an inability to pay. The YMCA provides membership and program assistance so that no one is turned away because of the inability to pay. Financial assistance applications are available at the Member Services Desk.

YMCA Bring A Friend Day
Here's a chance to share the Y with your friends! Adult members are welcome to bring a friend to the Y the first Friday of each month...for FREE. Just stop at the Member Services Desk and mention that you have a friend with you. We will ask your friend to sign in and you'll be able to enjoy all the YMCA has to offer.
SilverSneakers Fitness Program
The Mesabi Family YMCA is proud to offer the SilverSneakers Fitness Program! Members of participating Medicare health plans may be eligible to joing the nation's leading fitness program for older adults for free! To find out if your Medicare health plan offers this program, visit www.silversneakers.com or call your health plan's customer service department.
Medica Fit Choices & BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota Blue Print for Health
These programs are available at the YMCA! Eligible Medica & BCBS of Minnesota members can qualify for a $20/month credit toward their YMCA bank draft membership. Check with your health insurance plan or stop at the Member Services Desk for more information.
