Membership dues are conveniently debited from your checking account, savings account, credit or debit card on the 5th of each month.  Your first month payment may be a prorated partial payment depending on when you join. 
Annual payments are available, mutiply rate by 12.

**The YMCA charges a $10 NSF return fee for any bank draft transactions and $30 for any checks returned to us.

Financial Assistance

The Mesabi Family YMCA is a non-profit organization designed to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of members and participants in our local communites.  Participation in YMCA memberships and programs are not denied to anyone because of an inability to pay.  Because of the wonderful support of our donors, the door remained open to 600 youth, individuals and families facing financial challenges in 2009.  Their ability to grow mentally and physically in a safe and wholesome environment is because of the support of 327 individuals and local businesses.  Financial assistance applications and information on how to make a charitable contribution are available at the Member Services Desk.

Membership Cards

Your membership card is your YMCA identification.  All members must present their Y membership card for entrance to the facility.  Your initial membership card is free of charge.  There is a $5 charge for replacement cards.

Birthday Parties & Group Rentals

Planning a birthday party?  Looking for recreational opportunities for your church group or Boy Scout/Girl Scout group?  Come to the YMCA and enjoy use of our pool, gym, climbing wall and backyard!  Use of our multipurpose room is also included.  Contact Becky, our Membership & Marketing Director, for more information about available days/times and rental rates.

YMCA Bring A Friend Day

First Friday of every month!
Here's a chance to share the Y with your friends!  Adult members are welcome to bring a friend to the Y the first Friday of each month...for FREE.  Just stop at the Member Services Desk and mention that you have a friend with you.  We will ask your friend to sign in and you'll be able to enjoy all the YMCA has to offer.

SilverSneakers Fitness Program

The Mesabi Family YMCA is proud to offer the SilverSneakers Fitness Program!  Members of participating Medicare health plans may be eligible to joing the nation's leading fitness program for older adults for free!  To find out if your Medicare health plan offers this program, visit www.silversneakers.com or call your health plan's customer service department.
