About Us
We Build Strong Kids, Strong Families, Strong Communities
Mission Statement:
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy Spirit, Mind & Body for all.
Values
At the YMCA, we try to honor the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsiblity. We integrate these values into all of our programming, commit to modeling them as staff, and expect members and guests to exhibit them as well.
Financial Assistance
The Mesabi Family YMCA is a non-profit organization designed to meet the physical, mental and spiritual needs of members and participants in our local communities. Participation in YMCA programs and memberships are not denied to anyone because of an inability to pay. The YMCA provides membership and program assistance so that no one is turned away because of the inability to pay. Financial assistance applications are available at the Member Services Desk.
Volunteer Opportunites
At the Mesabi Family YMCA, we relay on our many volunteers to help us meet our mission each and every day. No matter what your special talents, interests and schedules are, you can help change someone's life at the YMCA. If you share our commitment to the continued well-being of our youth and community, please consider becomign a YMCA volunteer.
